What is Giftd?
Giftd is the new way to send fun, interactive digital gifts to anyone, virtually anywhere. Think of them as irresistible little surprises your lucky recipient can play with... Blow a winged heart from your iPhone® and watch it land on their MySpace page. Send an animated whoopee cushion from Facebook to your boss' blog and wait for the chuckles.
What is Viximo?
In layman's terms: Viximo is the technology that powers Giftd.com, the Giftd widget, and the Giftd iPhone App. For those looking for more specific info: Viximo is the only complete digital goods platform connecting premium-content designers, online or mobile publishers, and brands. What are gifts?
Gift: - noun. "something given voluntarily without payment in return, as to show favor toward someone, honor an occasion, or make a gesture of assistance." But you knew that, right? In the case of Giftd, gifts are digital items that you interact with, play, or view. You can't physically touch them, but they sure can make you smile.
Why send gifts?
Why not? Your best friend had a bad day, cheer them up with a chocolate sundae! It's your brother's birthday, send him a birthday cake that blows up! You beat your girlfriend in MarioCart, send her a dancing tator tot to gloat! There really is no limit to why you might send a gift. Gift freely, gift often.

Giftd on the Web

What is the Giftbox?
The Giftd Giftbox is a widget you can post nearly anywhere on the web to showcase all your irresistible interactive digital gifts. You can post it on your MySpace page, social network profile, personal landing page, website, blog, and any other webpage you control that supports flash widgets.
How do I get the Giftbox?
We're so glad you asked! Just visit the My Giftbox page to get started. We even make it super fast to post to your favorite social network.
How do I send a gift on the web?
If you use the Giftbox widget, its easy to get started – just press the "Send Gift" button. If not, you can also start in the Gift Store section of Giftd.com. Then find a gift you like, enter the email address of the recipient and your message to them and press send. Voila, you've sent a gift!
How do I unwrap a gift I received?
There are two places from which you can unwrap your gifts – your Giftbox widget and the Received Gifts section of Giftd.com. In both cases, you'll see that you have unwrapped gifts. To unwrap them, just click the "View" button to see the gift, interact with it, and read your personalized message. Then be a nice guy, and send a gift back!
Does it cost anything to send gifts?
That depends on you! You can choose a gift based on what you want to spend. Giftd has gifts that range between 0 credits (free) and 5 credits. The price of each gift is displayed beneath the gift.
How do I get credits?
You can purchase credits by clicking the "Buy Credits" link in the top right of Giftd.com, or the "Get More Credits" link from your Giftbox widget. We accept payment via credit card and Paypal. If you're already in the process of sending a gift but don't have enough credits, we will give you the option get more credits before completing your gifting.
How do I change my account information?
To change your account information, click the "Account" link in the top right of Giftd.com. You must be logged in to see this link.
Can I send a gift to a mobile device from the web?
Technically, yes! When sending a gift, you enter the email address for the recipient. If that person can receive email on their mobile device and launch the gift with a mobile browser, you've sent a gift to a mobile device! However, not all cell phones are created equal, and many phones do not yet support the awesomeness of our gifts (most use Flash). So for now, we recommend viewing them on a computer.
